Seeking Greatness: Teams of Heroic Learners

Large-Scale Scrum (LeSS) is a framework used by multiple Scrum teams, working on the same Product and sprinting synchronously. LeSS is NOT a congregation of many independent teams, working on unrelated products and doing their own sprinting, independently.

“LeSS does not treat Scrum as a low-level foundation, on top of which additional framework layers are built. LeSS is based on principles of Scrum as they are described in “The Scrum Guide”. LeSS uses Scrum as a pivotal building block to scale large product development at enterprise level, by many teams, across multiple product areas, by de-scaling unnecessary organizational complexity that exists today in many companies. LeSS has deep roots in Lean and System Thinking and tightly coupled with understanding System Dynamics”
